An East Greenwich native and her boyfriend have died after a plane crash in South Carolina.

An East Greenwich native and her boyfriend have died after a plane crash in South Carolina.

Authorities said Anisa Rossi, 22; and her boyfriend, Ericsson Davis, 24, were killed when their plane crashed 10 miles from the Chester Catawba Regional Airport in Chester, S.C.

Rossi was reportedly living in Surf City in that state.

The Federal Aviation Administration reported the plan left Wilmington, N.C., on Friday and was en route to Clayton, Georgia when someone contacted the FAA to report the plane was missing.

Davis was a Marine, serving as a first lieutenant at MCAS New River in Jacksonville.
