The East Greenwich Police Department is looking for a new police officer.
Applications are available on the town's Web site at www.eastgreenwichri.com. Click on Town Government/Forms, then Human Resources and then a link for the Police Department application. Or click HERE.
Qualified candidates must have an associate's degree or a minimum of 60 college credits towards a degree or two years of active military duty or four years of military reserve of National Guard duty.
Applicants with four-year college degrees will be given preference.
Applications are also available in the lobby of the East Greenwich Police Department at 176 First Ave.
The deadline for applications is May 20 at 4 p.m.
