East Greenwich Police are on the lookout for a man who allegedly stole wallets from customers shopping at the Division Street Dave's Marketplace twice in recent weeks.

Images of the man were taken by store security cameras and they show a white male with short dark hair and some facial hair. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with dark sleeves and hood.

The first incident occurred on Jan. 30 and the second on Feb. 2. In both, the suspect took a wallet from a customer's shopping cart. The wallets were discarded after the suspect removed cash.

The suspect appears to enter the store between 1 and 3 p.m. and targeted elderly females.

If you have any information, call East Greenwich Police Det. David Black at 401-886-8685.

Wonderful. Another able-bodied young man putting more effort into stealing than working.
