Police Find Hidden Stash of Booze in Woods

The alcohol was stored in a black box police said was designed stay hidden.

A secret stash of booze on town property got dumped on Sunday after a man walking in the area found a black box in the wetlands off Princess Pine Drive.

Police said the man told police he found the box while walking in the woods and police said inside, they found several 40 ounce bottles of Bud Light, a bottle of Hot Fire liquor and half a case of Bud Light cans.

"The box was built and painted black so that it would not be seen and is being used as a cooler to hold the alcohol, possibly for minors," a police report stated.

Police seized the alcohol and dumped it in the town's dumpster.

Police said the box was located on the south side of Princess Pine Drive about 200 feet from South Road.
