11:12 a.m. – A custodian at East Greenwich High School reported someone had dumped large pieces of scrap wood in the rear parking lot near the entrance to the tennis courts. Some car batteries had also been dumped and were already disposed of.

10:27 a.m. – Police arrested William James Ricci, 28, of Kingstown Road, Narragansett, on a bench warrant from 6th District Court after his employer made a complaint against him and routine checks turned up the warrant. According to the report, Ricci’s employer, a contractor working at a building on Post Road, said Ricci had threatened to hurt him. Ricci was taking into custody at the worksite, processed at the station, arraigned and released on bail.
5:10 p.m. – An East Greenwich woman told police a North Kingstown man who had been harassing her in 2012 recently sent her a package of cigars. She said she was afraid of the man.
Wednesday, Dec. 2510:09 a.m. – An Adirondack Drive resident complained to police about a Huguenot Drive resident who threw rocks and sticks at his dogs as he walked by the Adirondack Drive house. The three dogs are contained by an electric fence. Bothered by the action, the Adirondack Drive man drove down the streeet to the Huguenot Drive man to discuss the matter. According to the report, the Huguenot Drive man pushed the other man’s truck door into him as he was getting out. Police talked to the Huguenot Drive man, who admitted having thrown the rocks, saying the dogs were threatening and that one of the dogs had once attacked his dog. He denied any physical altercation with the other man but conceded the incident could have been handled better. Police told the man to walk on the opposite side of the street in future.
