Police Log: Coyote Put Down, Deer Struck on Frenchtown
Information about the following incidents was supplied by the East Greenwich Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Injured Coyote Euthanized
Police put down an injured coyote found in the area of South County Trail north of Middle Road. A passerby reportedly saw the animal go into a wooded area beyond the Pine Glens Condos. Officers were able to corner the animal and make a safe shot. Condo residents were notified of the incident.

Deer Struck on Frenchtown, Longmeadow Ave.
Police found a wounded deer in a grassy area near the intersection of Frenchtown Road and Longmeadow Avenue on Jan. 30 around 7 p.m. According to reports, it appeared the animal had been struck by a car and could not stand up. Officers were forced to put the animal down. DEM was notified and removed the deer.

Two Cars Vandalized on Marlborough Street
A Malborough Street resident reported to police that two of his vehicles had been vandalized overnight on Feb. 2. It appeared that someone had struck the windshields of both cars, cracking and damaging them. The man noted that only his cars were damaged, though there were other sin the driveway.

Mariela E. Minor, 33, of 12 Montrose Street, Apt. 2 in Providence was charged with driving with a suspended license on Jan. 30 at 12:23 a.m.
Paul D. Miro, 41, of 33 Red Feather Terrace in Wakefield was charged with driving with a suspended license on Jan. 31 at 6:50 p.m.
