Police say The Blissful Oak Engaged in Prostitution

East Greenwich Police have charged Tiffany M. Burgess, 33, of Providence, with prostitution after they say she sold sexual favors inside a Main Street business.

The Blissful Oak, which advertised on Craigslist and Backpage, was the subject of an undercover investigation and a detective entered the store on April 16 and was offered a sexual favor for money, the Providence Journal reported.

The detective declined the service but officers soon arrived to arrest Burgess.

She was charged with prostitution and obstruction of justice for giving police a false name.

Burgess is due in court on April 25.
