West Warwick Man Busted for Snorting Cocaine in Restaurant Bathroom

Police found cocaine residue on a cabinet in the men's room.

A 34-year-old West Warwick man is facing charges of felony narcotics possession after he allegedly snorted a few lines of cocaine in the bathroom at Grille on Main on Friday night.

Police said Adam Vincent Tanzi, 34, of 115 Gough Ave., went into the bathroom with another man and they were seen by another patron as they cut a small amount of cocaine on top of a painted cabinet.

The two then allegedly snorted the cocaine.

Police said they found cocaine residue on the cabinet in the bathroom and it tested positive.

Tanzi, who was sitting at the bar when police arrived, was taken into custody.

The other man, who was not identified by police, reportedly left the scene before police arrived.

Tanzi was arraigned on March 8 and released on personal recognizance. He is due to return to court on April 21 for a Attorney General screening conference.
