The water main break on Division Street at Overbrook Lane that took place during the snowstorm late Thursday night has been repaired and the road should be reopened Saturday afternoon, according to workers at the scene.
The break closed Division Street from Love Lane to First Avenue.
According to a Kent County Water Authority supervisor, about 15 residences were affected. Water service was restored Friday. The work was made more difficult because of the extreme cold.
This was the third water main break in recent days affecting KCWA service. According to the supervisor, it's unclear what caused the specific breaks, but he said old pipes are usually the underlying issue.
