EG Special Education Advisory Committee Meeting Tuesday
Among the agenda items is establishing a subcommittee to look at special ed bus safety.
The East Greenwich Special Education Advisory Committee (EG SEAC) will hold its second meeting of the school year Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 9:30 a.m. at the school administration offices, 111 Peirce St.
Current SEAC members who joined at the kick-off meeting in October, as well as any new parents interested in becoming members, are encouraged to attend.
Items on the December agenda will include updates from Special Ed/Student Services Director Bradley Wilson; establishing subcommittee groups to focus on issues including special ed school bus safety; the scope of enrichment/extracurricular offerings to special needs students; liaison roles in various school groups and panels; and presentation of the SEAC bylaws.

“We greatly appreciated a terrific showing at the first meeting and urge those new members, as well as any new parents, to join us for the December meeting,” said Donna Perry, SEAC Co-Leader. “We want a committee that is active and pursuing goals and we need participation and member commitment to do that.”
