Newberry Public Relations & Marketing’s Social Media Marketing University (SMMU) program will host an educational Twitter seminar on June 20 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Centerville Seminar Center, 875 Centerville Rd., Building 2, Suite 5 in Warwick. This seminar, taught by SMMU faculty member Laura Theisen, is designed especially for Twitter newbies who wish to gain an understanding of what this microblogging tool is and the role it can play in business development, research, PR, marketing, customer service, and more. Learn how to set up and navigate your account and the importance of optimizing your profile. This workshop is for beginners with limited Twitter knowledge/experience.
