When a child enters kindergarten, it's a milestone.
It's also a critical time to teach youngsters difficult concepts like strangers, dangers and safety in general.
Explaining the complicated world to an innocent and curious child is a tough job. Luckily, in East Greenwich, parents have lots of support.
Case in point: Safety Town Camp.
It's a tradition in EG where children entering kindergarten in the fall learn about safety, from police, school buses, animals and more.
The camp runs from June 23 to 26 at Meadowbrook Elementary School.
