Wet field conditions caused the game to be postponed twice, but the D II Boys Lacrosse final at last took place Tuesday evening under cloudy skies at Rhode Island College. EG beat SK 10-4, earning the state championship for the second year in a row and capping a perfect season.
The title game results mirrored that of the regular season – unfortunately for South Kingstown. On April 10, the Rebels lost 10-2 at East Greenwich, and in the late season rematch on May 10, South Kingstown lost 14-8 at home.
