When Do Fall Sports Start in East Greenwich?

School is starting soon — and that means EGHS athletes will soon take to the field, the track, and the courts.

As the summer winds down and kids return to school — remember, the first day of school in East Greenwich is Aug. 28  — high school sports teams are preparing to start their fall seasons.

Here's the run-down of season-opening games for the Avengers' varsity squads. Check out RIIL for the full schedules.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
  •  Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 6 p.m. at Warwick Veterans High School
  •  Friday, Sept. 6 at 6:30 p.m. at home vs. Pilgrim High School
GIRLS SOCCIER
  • Friday, Sept. 6 at 6 p.m. at home vs. Barrington High School
  • Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 3:30 p.m. at Cranston High School West

GIRLS TENNIS

  • Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 3:30 p.m. at St. Mary Academy – Bay View
  • Friday, Sept. 6 at 3:30 p.m. at home vs. South Kingstown High School
