EG Art Festival Returns For Two Days In September

The festival, to be held outside at New England Tech, will be Sept. 1 and 2.

East Greenwich will host the second annual East Greenwich  Art Festival on Sept. 1 and 2 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily outside at New England Tech on Division Road in East Greenwich. The art festival will feature more than 140 contemporary American arts and crafts artists along with strolling entertainment including Rhode Island’s own the Big Nazo puppets. The festival will feature items big and small including jewelry, ceramics, paintings, sculpture and home accessories along with festive food and live music.

In addition to the juried art and crafts for sale, the festival will donate 10 booth spaces to young artists to show their work, grades 1-12. And, during the festival, they will create a sculpture with the community at the festival and then donate it back to a local establishment like a library. There will also be a Creation Station at each festival where children can make crafts for a donation to Art is Smart.

“We believe that an art festival should be a family day filled with art, music, creativity and fun!” said Jennifer Neuguth, owner of Festival Fete.
