[VIDEO] Autism Project Summer Camp Celebrates 11 Years

Not only do several EG kids attend the camp each year, but the camp's director this summer is EG adaptive p.e. teacher Lisa McKay.


As part of its year-round services to children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), has been offering its "Move, Think, Create, Communicate" summer camp.

Now in its 11th year, the summer camp moved to the Buck Hill Boy Scout Reservation in Pascoag (that in Burrillville!) for the 2012 two-week program.

The accompanying video shows the scene on Aug. 10, as campers and staff wrapped their first week with drumming led by members of the Rhode Island Philharmonic, as well as arts programs and that staple of summer camp: swimming.
