Another 1-3 inches of slush? Enough already!

I'm not sure when it was that I turned from a lover of the cold white fluffy stuff to a person who despises it. There was a time when I could think of nothing better than shushing down the slopes, cold winter wind whipping at my face. I loved winter sports: Ice skating, sledding, cross country skiing, sitting in the outdoor hot tub after a long days adventure on the trails...

Now the thought of cold hands and feet, runny nose, persistent coughs and inflated heating bills are enough to drive me to the brink of a meltdown.

Enough already. Winter time sucks. I miss the warm sunshine. I miss the beach. I miss the green leaves hung against perfect blue skies. Where are all the flowers? The fireworks? Ice cream on the porch? I miss walking around in my shorts and tennis shoes. Driving with the windows open and the top down. I miss just sitting around in the backyard watching the grass grow and the kids playing in the sand box.

Can I get some barbequed chicken over here? Some homemade 'tater salad already?

Winter sucks. I think I going to move someplace warmer. Maybe the Keys or the Bayou or something. Can someone get me a Pina Colada, please?

Do we really need another pizzle of a snow storm? Big sigh. Give me a warm sunny day anytime! Besides a few plow operators who could use a few extra bucks is there anyone who actually likes snow anymore? The cold and snow is just another hassle I have to deal with.

In this world of 'instant everything' can't we just always have perfect weather and just choose 'snow day' once and a while? I mean...I hate the concept of California but living in San Francisco (which is beautiful BTW) and heading over to Tahoe to get in a few ski runs would probably be ideal.

Hmmm.....okay. It's settled then. I'm moving to the San Francisco bay area. Thanks for helping me work that out.
