Slobber On! 17th Annual Hound Hike Takes Place Sunday

The "hike" at Goddard Park benefits the EG Animal Protection League.

The biggest dog party of the year takes place Sunday at Goddard Park, where dogs and their humans are invited to participate in the 17th Annual East Greenwich Animal Protection League’s Hound Hike.

There will be big dogs and little dogs, brown dogs and white, tall dogs and short dogs (with apologies to P.D. Eastman and his classic “Go, Dog. Go!”).

This is a fun time and a big fundraiser for the EGAPL, which cares for hundreds of homeless animals each year.

There will be many pet-related companies giving out samples and information. Lunch will be provided. Everything goes towards the shelter, food and medical care of the area’s homeless animals. Visit our website www.EGAPL.org or call 401-241-4541 for more information.
