Weekend Agenda: 'Blue' Christmas

‘Blue’ Christmas service: For many, Christmas is not a “holly, jolly” time, but a season of sadness, grief, even despair. Those feelings will be recognized and raised them up to God in a “Blue Christmas” service at St. Luke’s, 99 Church St., Saturday at 4 p.m.

Coastal Growers Winter Farmers Market: The Winter Farmers Market in North Kingstown features many vendors selling produce, meat, baked goods and artisan goods. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lafayette Mill at 650 Ten Rod Road in North Kingstown.

The town can only obtain phone numbers for households with land lines; if you have a cell phone you want the town to use for emergency notifications, you need to register it with the town.
