Rummage sale: The First Baptist Church is holding their huge Fall Rummage Sale Friday and Saturday. Men's and women's and kid's clothing of all sizes. Lots of books. Kitchen wear, tools, electronics, furniture, jewelry, toys, crafts, and other assorted flotsam and jetsam. 8 a.m.

Get the buzz on Drone Wars: Are drones a necessary part of war? Of life? Get the buzz on this controversial subject at East Greenwich Free Library. Dr. Andrea J. Dew will be leading the discussion on. Drew is co-director of the Center on Irregular Warfare and Armed Groups (CIWAG) at the U.S. Naval War College. The talk is free and open to the public, but seating is limited to first-come, first-served. At 2 p.m.

West Bay Open Studios: 23 artists in East Greenwich, Warwick, and North Kingstown will open their studios to the public in their fifth-annual West Bay Open Studios Tour. The tour is free and self-guided. This once a year opportunity gives art lovers and collectors the perfect venue to shop for fine art and crafts. Many artists will be giving talks and demonstrations, offering insight on their creative process. Maps and brochures are available on our website, www.westbayopenstudio.com or our sponsors' places of business.

Autumn Festival: The Seasons East Greenwich will be having an Autumn Festival on Saturday, October 19, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The location is 5 Saint Elizabeth Way in East Greenwich. We will have live music with R.I. Rednecks at 11:30 a.m., demonstrations with Grand Master Hong's World Class Taekwondo Center at 2 p.m., food, crafters, antique autos and firetrucks, face painting and a doggie adoption day with Friends of Homeless Animals. There will be something for everyone!

Franz & Francis concert: A free concert featuring alumni, faculty, and select students from URI’s voice and piano studios, performing songs and piano works by the two composers in recognition of the 185th and 50th anniversaries of their deaths. Program also includes a multimedia rendition of The Story of Babar, the beloved children’s classic, narrated by Margaret Frazier and accompanied by Takasawa and students in the piano program, with images from the book. Part of the Parents’ Weekend programming at URI. Held in the URI Fine Arts Center Concert Hall. Parking available behind the Fine Arts Center off Bills Road. 8 p.m.

Wild Harvest New Location Open House: Wild Harvest is a couple weeks from opening its second shop, this one at 1675 South County Trail. In honor of that, they are holding an open house at the new shop from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. 

Grief Support: This group at Christ Church is open to anyone who is grieving the loss of a loved one. Each session begins with a video followed by discussion.
