Your Guide: End of Summer Concert 2013
Summer in EG wraps up — as it has for 17 years now — with the Aug. 30 event at Eldredge Field.
It's become a tradition in East Greenwich, and it continues Friday, Aug. 30, with the 18th Annual Summer's end concert at Eldredge Field with gates open at 2:30 p.m.
The U.S. Navy Band headlines an afternoon of performances that also include The Colour of London [an Alex + Ani featured artist], Three Amigos, The Lost Arts Band, Harold Ambler, and The Hurricanes.
For the past year, the Board of the Summer Arts and Festival Organization has been working toward this day, and the concert is the culmination of all that planning and preparation.
The show is free, and donations are needed to help the concert continue.
