Briarbrook Farm, on South County Trail in East Greenwich, has been selling plants and vegetables out of its 11 greenhouses for 60 years. It is a family business owned by Jerry Thompson and his siblings, whose father founded the company. Briarbrook Farm carries a variety of plants, flowers, vegetables and even baked goods.
From mid-April to Christmas Eve, Briarbrook sells annuals, perennials, locally grown fruits and vegetables and fresh-baked pies, pastries and cookies.
