For Arts Sake is a private art school located on Post Road that offers classes to students of all ages and ability levels. Owner and teacher JoAnn Wilks aims to create a welcoming atmosphere where any student can explore his or her creativity. Wilks previously worked as a sketch artist for the FBI in Washington, D.C. She teaches classes in all media, from water colors to acrylics, portraits to line art. Wilks describes her teaching style as positive, encouraging and "totally non-intimidating."
