I have been a client of Shimmer salon and day spa for a long time.I visit there at least once a month, I would highly recommend the foil highlights from the owner by far the best since i moved from NYC.I also have had great facials and peels and it is my go to place for my pedicures and shellac nails.
I have to respond to the last review This person showed up with extra young women This is a labor intensive party and at 14 the girls are full grown It takes more time to prepare them so when there were extra teens Yes the photographer helped paint some nails because she could not start taking photos until they were camera ready which was very nice of her . everyone who has seen the photos thought they were great except the mother focused on one of one of the girls and said it was a little blurry we offered to reprint this photo but she insisted on taking all of the photos and then we made her a disc for the others pictures , Ten dollars a girl is not expensive for a glamor shots .please come in and view photos from our parties We think you will love them!

I have been a client of Shimmer Salon and Spa since it opened and I love it, I have had my hair foiled by the owner and I recieve tons of compliments I get facials and spa pedicures that exceed any other place I have ever been Kate for my nails and leeanne performs my facial brazilian wax and threads my eyebrows . My daughter had a spa party for 10 13 year olds and they are still talking about it
very bad birthday party experience. I had 19 girls for an 8th grade party.....cost a fortune. The girls had a blast with the services, but PASS ON THE PHOTOGRAPHY......they charged an extra $10 per girl just for this service, and I did not even ebnd up with any pictures. I had to get a disc from them and then print my own pictures. BTW, the "professional photographer" they used was also doing nails in the salon.
I recently tried Shimmer salon and Spa and have to say I was truly impressed . I found the staff friendly and knowlegable . The owner fixed a serious hair disaster that had happened at another place . I left with gorgeous blonde highlights and a few lowlights to balance, I also had a great pedicure by Kate and went back a few days later foer a massage Jennifer and facial with Leeanne I really enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere and talented staff
I'm a guy and my girlfriend has been going there for awhile and loves their services (and hair coloring) and finally she dragged me along to get rid of some of my grey. I got my new look and many compliments. Grace and co got it going on there!

My husband bought me a massage and facial .The massage was wonderful Judy had expert hands and worked out my back and neck pain.The facial was an hour of pure aromatherapy and renewal. My skin looks awesome!
The salon itself is very large and beautiful.I found the staff to be very attentive also.
