If you find your child online at 2am playing Minecraft, then you need to find the parental controlsRead More on your system (not to mention some serious time away from the computer as a punishment). Each child should have their own login. From there, you can set up both time limits and curfews. The system warns them if they get close to the cut-off, and it will cut-off mid-game/project if they ignore the warning. A parent (Administrator) can always add time if they are working on schoolwork and need a few more minutes. You can also limit which websites they are allowed to see when surfing the net. Microsoft Family Safety is one program, but there are other programs out there will do the same. That solves the "online" issue. I still occasionally have to go in a confiscate a book and flashlight when they should be sleeping...
