A missing leg doesn't slow Abby down.
Abby does not know that she is no ordinary cat. Really, Abby has her three-legged hobble down to a science and is a happy girl. This 10-year-old brown Tiger does not know what life is like with four legs because Abby was born with her umbilical cord wrapped around her leg, leaving the vet no choice but to amputate. The only thing Abby does realize is that she is unable to scratch herself so she is over the moon when she is brushed (they even leave the brush for her in the cage, and she happily uses it). Abby is a real sweetheart and deserves a home where she can get plently of love (and brushings). Come meet Abby at East Greenwich Animal Protection League's Adopt-A-Pet Open House Sunday between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. at Greenwich Bay …

Ash is a handsome 2-year-old kitty.
This week's Pet of the Week is the most friendly loving cuddly cat you will ever meet. Believe it or not Ash has been with us for about a year now and we have no idea why. He is in perfect health. Yes he's a bit chubby but if you were laying in a cage all day for a year you would be too. He loves people and will run right over to you and purr. Ash is 2 years old and is one of the only cats I've ever met who loves getting his belly rubbed. Ash was abandoned when his owners moved and was found and turned into EG Animal Protection League but despite this neglagent act Ash still trusts and thrives off people. Have you ever seen a chubby cat chase a ball? Let Ash show you how it looks. Please consider giving this loving friendly boy a chance! …

This pretty kitty loves to cuddle and is hoping to be able to enjoy a sunny spot in someone's home.
This week's pet of the week is the handsome Data. Data is a beautiful orange boy. He is very sweet and in good health. Sadly, Data had to be surrendered by his owners because they couldn't take him with them when they moved into assisted living. Data is such a loving big boy who is good with everybody. He loves to cuddle. This good-looking guy is 12 years old and really misses having a house and sun spots to curl up in and people to give him attention and love. Please consider adopting this sweet boy!
This week's pet of the week is Buster! Buster is our loving playful 3-year-old boy. He has blue eyes and unusual coloring and markings – we have never seen anything like that on a daschund before. Before Buster came to EGAPL he suffered from seizures, however now they are completely controlled over medication. He hasn't had a single one since he's been on it. EGAPL has volunteered to donate six months of his medication to Buster's lucky owner! Buster loves to cuddle and play – he never wants to leave you alone, getting Buster back in his cage isn't easy because he always jumps back out into your arms to give you kisses! Please consider adopting this sweet boy! To see Buster an all of the other amazing adoptable dogs, cats, kittens, and …
