Police Searching for Suspect In Attempted Robbery In NK
North Kingstown police are investigating an attempted robbery at Bank of America Tuesday night.
A suspect in an attempted robbery at Bank of America at 6725 Post Rd. in North Kingstown is still at large, according to police. An unknown suspect attempted to rob a woman as she made a deposit at the bank's drive-thru at around 8:14 p.m. Tuesday, according to Lt. Paul Barry of the North Kingstown Police Department. The suspect allegedly threatened the woman and physically assaulted her. Police are still determining whether the suspect took any items from the victim. As of 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, police were interviewing witnesses at the scene. Police were unable to give a description of the alleged robber.
