Five Things: Bianca Sings! Teen Center Rocks!

Teen Center: The Teen Center has provided a great place to hang out on Friday evenings for decades now. They meet at the gym at Eldredge School but you don’t have to play basketball to enjoy the camraderie. Five things you need to know about East Greenwich today, August 12.

Food Cupboard open: If you or someone you know is struggling to put food on the table, there’s help. The EG Interfaith Food Cupboard is open today from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Donations, too, are always welcome. The cupboard is located at St. Luke’s Church on Peirce Street. Goddard Park Farmers Market: You know the drill - and if you don’t, get over there! The market begins at 9 a.m. and goes until 1 p.m. Locals Play East Providence: Singing powerhouse and recent EGHS grad Bianca Sperduti will be singing with Matt Delisi and Matt Neil playing guitars at Providence Coffee Roasters, 181 Willet Ave., Riverside, from 7 to 9 p.m. Soccer registration: If you haven’t signed up your child for fall soccer, the deadline is Monday.
