Bingo hasn't had it easy lately, but she's a fighter
Bingo came to the East Greenwich Animal Protection League about a month ago because she was left with nowhere to go after her owners lost their home to foreclosure. Bingo arrived with a bad case of fleas and an upper respiratory infection, but she's a trooper and didn't complain once. She's a happy and now-healthy 13-year-old who has a lot of love to give. Please consider giving Bingo a home. You can see her and all the animals looking for their permanent home Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Adopt-A-Pet open house at EGAPL located at Greenwich Bay Animal Hospital.

It's April Break! And the weather is almost cooperating. Today looks to be sunny into the afternoon before showers move in, so make the most of your outdoor plans early. Boston Marathon locals: The first wave of 115th Boston Marathon gets under way at 10am today, in Hopkinton, Mass. Of the more than 27,000 runners who are registered to participate, at least six call East Greenwich home. Feeling Lucky? It’s the weekly Bingo game at Swift Community Center.
