Fire District meeting: On the agenda is approval of resolutions for the annual meeting and the 2013 fiscal year budget. Senior Sara Pagliarini started donating less than two years ago and has already given eight pints.
“I really don’t like needles. I cry when I get shots,” says EGHS senior Sara Pagliarini. Yet this same young woman has donated blood eight times since she turned 16 less than two years ago. How come? “I know that it’s really needed,” she says. “I’d feel bad not giving blood.” Pagliarini is helping organize a blood drive at the high school that takes place on Friday, Oct. 28, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. EGHS is looking to match or even exceed the number of donations received at its blood drive last spring. That drive had 53 donors, a record for the school.
