Bronco Blowout Earns Avengers Playoff Spot
EG Football team wins against Burrillville, 48 to 0.
The Avengers hit on all cylinders Friday night in their game against the Broncos. Although Burrillville seemed to come out with some steam at the start of the game, they were no match against Av’s superior defense and EG just kept scoring, ending the game with a 48-0 blowout. A few minutes before the end of the first quarter, EG’s Alex Cleary started off the scoring, with a running touchdown, followed by his successful extra point kick. The Av’s offense was explosive in the second quarter, with a running touchdown by Carney Crawford, followed by a short passing touchdown by Jeremy Streich.
