Readers Really Like Busy Bee

The Post Road florist shop owned by Giti Gerami received 274 votes in this week's Readers' Choice poll.

It turns out EG Patch readers are passionate about flowers! With nearly 400 votes cast, the poll nearly rivaled EG voter turnout in Tuesday’s primary. Busy Bee Florist II on Post Road took top honors with 274 votes, 69 percent of the total, by 9 a.m. Friday. Sprigs on Main Street took the second spot, with a respectable 96 votes, 24 percent of the total. But the votes were only half the story. By Friday morning, we had a whopping 55 comments on this poll. Many customers of Busy Bee, which is owned by EG resident Giti Gerami, weighed in with enthusiasm both for the floral arrangements and for Giti herself. “I have used Busy Bee for over ten years to order flowers for school ceremonies and Giti has never disappointed me. If a woman in your life says, "Don't bother buying me flowers," you're probably better off doing it anyway. Why? Because flowers are an immediate pick-me-up.
