Their Grandson Wasn't Arrested In Peru After All
Information about the following arrests was supplied by the East Greenwich Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Monday, Dec. 26 8:15 a.m. — A former employee of a hair salon asked police to help her arrange to pick up her belongings from the salon because she was not on good terms with the owner. Police talked to the salon owner, who said that the woman owed her back rent and owed her for product sold and for some damage and that she wanted to sit down with the woman to arrange a repayment plan. Tuesday, Dec. 27 Noon — A contractor reported that some metal construction materials were missing from the back of East Greenwich Car Wash on First Avenue. He told police he thought they must have been taken on Sunday or Monday, when no one was at the car wash. Police notified scrap metal companies in Exeter and North Kingstown to be on the look out. 12:19 …
