EG Rotary Citrus Pickup Saturday: It's pickup day for all those who pre-ordered Florida citrus fruit and gift baskets from EG Rotary! If you cannot pick up your order Saturday, please call Bonnie at 885-4650 to make alternate arrangements. If you did not pre-order, we still have plenty of oranges, grapefruits and pears available. All profits from this fundraiser are given to local organizations and projects. So come on down and improve your own life by helping others with the purchase of some delicious fruit. Rotary’s Annual Citrus Drive Is Back

For 22 years, the East Greenwich Rotary Club has run its citrus drive, having boxes of fresh oranges and grapefruit shipped from Florida straight to EG. For many in town, it’s become a fall tradition. The money raised through the citrus drive has gone on to support a wide range of local projects and charities - Rotary's picking something special to support each year has also become a big tradition. In fact, the East Greenwich Rotary Club has been supporting the Town of East Greenwich with various causes for about 50 years. They are once again asking for support with their latest fundraising project. This year, they are raising money for the lights installed at Cragan Field last spring. The new lights are up – but they are not paid for. …
