Ives Road Crash Victim Identified

The driver in the single car crash was Alfred Coletti of Warwick.

Police have released the name of the man who died following a single car accident on Ives Road in the Potowomut section of Warwick late morning Friday. He is Alfred Coletti, 42, of Warwick. The accident took place just before 11:30 a.m. near 630 Ives Rd., on a stretch of the road between the two entrances to Goddard Park. According to a witness, Coletti’s SUV was traveling south on Ives Road when it drifted into the northbound lane and continued across the roadway, crashing into a tree. According to Warwick police, Coletti was the sole occupant of the vehicle; he had to be extricated by the fire department.
