Besos Tea House, 378 Main Street, East Greenwich www.besosteahouse.com ATMOSPHERE: This is a glistening little gem of a restaurant with décor both elegant and innovative. Shiny black chandeliers, several baroque-style mirrors, and the unique touch of birch trunks lining the support columns create a feast for the eyes. A sparkling marble bar with a comfortable alcove beyond it for small private groups adds to the stylish atmosphere. Even the bathroom was a delight with its hand-painted walls, subway tiles and a ceiling so unique, you’ll just have to visit it yourself.
