5 EGHS Girls Earn First Team All-State Honors For Fall Sports

EGHS's Drljaca in tennis, Pallister and Kraft in field hockey, McCaffery in Cross Country, and LeBlanc in soccer are named.

The Providence Journal has named many of its All-State teams for the fall season. Here are the girl athletes from East Greenwich High School who received honors. Girls Tennis, First Team: Junior Aleksandra Drljaca was named to the first team for the third year in a row, but this year, she has the distinction of having won the state singles title. Drljaca won every match she played during the regular season, and lost only 2 sets out of the 38 she played.  Second Team: Heather Shen Elizabeth Blessing Field Hockey, First Team: Senior Keri Pallister was, according to the Providence Journal, a "key reason East Greenwich finished second in I-South."
