Groundhog Day: I love the movie, but think the whole groundhog thing is pretty silly. 'Fiddler On The Roof' This Weekend At EGHS!

There are shows Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 1 and 7 p.m.

They aren't using the old barn out back, but kids and some adults at East Greenwich High School are putting on a show this weekend – Fiddler on the Roof. Come see the more than 75 students who are part of this production.  Here's what Wikipedia says about the musical: Fiddler on the Roof is a musical with music by Jerry Bock, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, and book by Joseph Stein, set in Tsarist Russia in 1905. It is based on Tevye and his Daughters (or Tevye the Milkman and Other Tales) by Sholem Aleichem. The story centers on Tevye, the father of five daughters, and his attempts to maintain his family and Jewish religious traditions while outside influences encroach upon their lives.
