Five things you need to know about East Greenwich today, Oct. 18

Town Council meeting: The Council will meet tonight at Town Hall at 6 to interview one final candidate for its new budget advisory committee. When it convenes at 6:15 in open session, it will appoint members to the new panel and pass a pension resolution. The agenda is attached at right. Land Trust meeting: The Land Trust will meet first in executive session, if necessary, to discuss Boesch Farm litigation. In open session, the agenda includes an update on Boesch Farm, a Land Trust brochure and public comment. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. in the conference room across from Council Chambers at Town Hall. Flu Vaccine Clinics To Be Held At EG Schools Tuesday

Students, parents, staff and siblings are all welcome to attend the clinics.

Five out of the six EG public schools will be holding flu vaccination clinics on Tuesday between 4 and 7 p.m. The clinics will be held at Cole Middle School and Eldredge, Frenchtown, Hanaford and Meadowbrook elementary schools. The clinics are being administered by The Wellness Company. There is no charge for students, but health insurance information will be collected if available. Adults with health insurance through BC/BS, United Healthcare, Medicare Part B, Neighborhood Health, TriCare or Tufts will be able to get the vaccine without a co-pay (you must have your insurance card with you).
