She crafted a clever graphic with all the information you need to be lice free.
It's the note from school nobody wants to get: your child has head lice. Yet, it happens to many of us, so many in fact, you'd think the stigma would be gone. But it persists. One EG parent had to deal with lice this past fall. When she heard about another case, she decided to use the instance as a teachable – and with any luck, lice-free – moment. Cute graphic, but not based on latest studies; it perpetuates myths causing undue stress. First, lice are more in the front to crown of the head, nits are found on the hair shaft close to the scalp commonly behind the ears, nape of neck and crown. Second, looking for bites is misleading.
