[VIDEO] EG Gains Three New Patrolmen
Matthew Larsson, Matthew Cordle and Matthew White were sworn in at the Town Council meeting Monday.
After nearly two years, the EG Police Department will soon have a full complement of officers, following the swearing in Monday night of three probationary patrolman: Matthew Larsson, Matthew Cordle, and Matthew White. While they are on probation, they will ride with another officer, so the force will not be back to full complement until the end of February, according to Police Chief Tom Coyle. He noted, in his remarks to the Town Council before the officers were sworn in, that all three men had bachelor's degrees. The process to fill positions left by retirements began 18 months ago.
