Michael and Anna Zaino and Carl Hoyer received WOH Appreciation Awards for their contributions to the community. They were honored Thursday night at a ceremony at East Greenwich High School.
Bruce Mastracchio, who came up with the idea for an East Greenwich High School Wall of Honor, originally proposed a statewide hall of fame for athletes. When that proved to be too expensive, he approached the high school and revised the concept to include all the school’s graduates.
