Five things you need to know about East Greenwich today, April 28.

EGLL Opening Day: Little Leaguers will take part in the EGLL Opening Day parade and ceremonies this morning. The parade steps off from Academy Field at 10 a.m. and proceeds down Church Street, to Main Street and south and west over to Cragan Field. The ceremony will follow immediately after the parade. Then it’s time to play ball! “Aladdin Kids”: Students from Hanaford and Meadowbrook star in Aladdin Kids at East Greenwich High School at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 and are available at the door. Prescription Drug Give Back this Saturday: If you have prescription drugs you need to dispose of, drop them off at the EG Police Department this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bleachery Pond cleanup: Join Evan Carpenter as he works on his Eagle Scout …

Teen Center: The coolest place in town on Fridays — the gym at Eldredge plays host to local teens from 6 to 8 p.m.
