Leftover Grenades, Bad Checks And A Drowned Squirrel

Monday, Dec. 5 12:33 p.m. - A real estate agent reported that someone had dumped yard debris in the driveway of a vacant house she was trying to sell. She was told to call into the department and have the address added to the vacant property list. 1:10 p.m. - A Warwick man reported he’d seen someone drowning a squirrel at the town boat launch on Crompton Avenue. According to the Warwick man, he saw a gray-haired man walk to the dock carrying a “have a heart”-type trap and he could see that there was an animal inside. The man submerged the trap into the water and when he lifted it out again, the trap was empty. The Warwick man got the other man’s license plate number. If you read the article Spring Street is referring to... It states he was chasing two thugs off his property. I would have done the same thing. I agree with EG Lurker.   more ›
