Joyriding In A Golf Cart & Locker Larcenies
Information about the following incidents was supplied by the East Greenwich Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Tuesday, Sept. 4 4:58 p.m. – Police cited a West Warwick woman for driving with an expired license after they received a report about someone taking pictures of houses in the Division Road area and driving away. Police found her near Shippeetown Road. She explained she was taking pictures for a company that works with banks to determine if houses in bankruptcy or foreclosure are vacant. Routine checking turned up the expired license. The car was towed from the scene. Wednesday, Sept. 5 2:03 p.m. – A Cranston woman reported a disturbing phone message left for her son by her ex-husband, a resident of East Greenwich. She told police she wanted it documented. A bunch of young kids have been driving that thing up and down Church St for several weeks. It certainly doesn't seem safe. more ›
