Library Legislative Awareness Day: The Rhode Island Library Association (RILA) celebrates the annual RI Library Legislative Awareness Day this afternoon in the State House Rotunda from 2 to 4 p.m. The event works to exhibit library-related organizations and show legislators the benefits they have on communities. RILA also requests the attendance of all RI residents to let their leaders know how integral library resources are, and plans to showcase the virtual presence of those unable to attend in person. RILA encourages those wishing to virtually connect to call 401-203-READ (7323) before or during event hours. EGHS Annual White Out Basketball Game On Friday

The East Greenwich High School Varsity Basketball team will be hosting its 3rd annual "White Out" basketball game against Moses Brown on Friday, January 6th at 6:30 PM. The White Out, for the last three years, has been put together by the EGHS Varsity Club. The Varsity Club, a school wide organization that orchestrates fundraisers through sporting events, will be donating all funds gained during the White Out to EGHS's Special Education Department. We advise all who attend to wear white and cheer for your Avengers.
