Kristin Wheeler is a stay-at-home mom of two beautiful children, who spends most her days volunteering to help at her kids’ schools and running her daughter’s Girl Scout Troop. In her “life before kids,” she was an elementary and middle school teacher for eight years, with a focus in technology teaching Microsoft Office and iMovie. Kristin grew up outside D.C., and later received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and her Master’s in Middle School Education, both at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA.
Kristin also worked as a leader for Weight Watchers for over two years, and as a seamstress while in college. She has moved around for her husband’s education and jobs (VA, OK, CA, IL, and RI). Her husband is currently a tenured professor at the University of Rhode Island. Kristin has traveled to Japan twice on Educational Scholarships, as well to England, Ireland, Italy, and Spain. She enjoys reading, writing, exercising, playing golf, wine tasting, taking pictures/movies, playing with her kids, and having fun with friends. She has been a resident of East Greenwich for a little over two years, and loves the town she lives in!
