Monthly Meeting of Cindy-Wood Garden Club

An Ikebana workshop led by Eileen DiChiara will be the program at the monthly meeting of the Cindy-Wood Garden Club on Tuesday, November 19th.  Ikebana is a Japanese style of flower arranging that emphasizes graceful lines, natural shapes and few flowers.  The hands-on workshop is open to anyone interested in this striking art form.  Participants are asked to bring an appropriate vase, and if you wish, a second vase to trade or give away.  There is a $15 fee to cover the cost of all materials including flowers, organic items, feathers, yarn, etc. The program will be held in the meeting room of the East Greenwich Police Station on First Avenue.  It begins at 9:30 am with coffee and refreshments. Please call Marnie Sandham at 886-9266 or Joni Plunkett at 885-2868 for more information.
