Campellones Out On Bail

As part of the bail conditions, neither the father nor the two sons are allowed in East Greenwich.


Robert E. Campellone and his two sons, Robert B. Campellone and Kyle C. Campellone, were released on bail Monday. One condition of the bail was that none of them are allowed back to East Greenwich – either their house or the town.

The three at 236 Adirondack Drive the morning of June 8. of cultivating marijuana and possessing 1 to 5 kilos of marijuana with intent to deliver. The elder Campellone was also charged with maintaining a narcotics nuisance.

Both Roberts, ages 58 and 23 respectively, were released on $50,000 surety bail, which meant they could be released by supplying 10 percent – $5,000 each – of that total; the remainder had to be guaranteed by a third party. Another condition of their bail was they must undergo a substance abuse evaluation and take part in a treatment program if recommended. They are both due back in court on Sept. 10 on prior charges.

Kyle Campellone, who is 22, was released on $30,000 surety bail. He was ordered to an inpatient drug treatment program in Oklahoma.

All three were prohibited from going to their house or even entering East Greenwich. later the same day the raid took place because of numerous code violations, according to town building officials.

The total paid to gain release for the three family members was $13,000 cash.

There are no court dates for the Campellones in connection to these most recent arrests. According to spokeswoman for the state Attorney General Amy Kempe, East Greenwich police must first finish their investigation, then submit their report to the AG’s office, which will then decide whether or not to indict them.
