Sick Fox In Frenchtown/High Hawk Area – Caution Urged
Residents of the High Hawk and Frenchtown neighborhoods are particularly warned.
East Greenwich Police reports a fox, appearing to be sick, has had possible contact with a human and with a domestic animal. Police said residents of the Frenchtown Road and High Hawk Road areas.
If you see a fox in your area, police ask that you contact them immediately at 401-884-2244.
Don not attempt to approach this animal.
Parents and caregivers are urged to monitor children and pets during outside activities. And it's a good time to check if your pets are up to date on their rabies vaccinations.
